The Kremlin said they consider Minsk to be the best place to negotiate

“For us, Minsk is the best place. This is our main ally, so it’s the best place to negotiate ””, – WRITE: www.radiosvoboda.org

The Kremlin said they consider Minsk the best place to negotiate Ukraine, the USA and Russia.

“This issue was not raised or discussed. But, of course, Minsk is the best place for us. This is our main ally, so this is the best place to negotiate, ”said Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov in response to journalists’ questions.

Earlier, Oleksandr Lukashenko announced the readiness of Minsk to organize negotiations of Presidents of Russia, the USA and Ukraine.

“Come. Here we will sit. Calmly, without noise, we will agree without screams. So pass Trump: I wait here with Putin and Zelensky. Let’s sit down and agree calmly, ”Lukashenko said.

This message appeared after the media was informed of the probable suspension of the US military support for Ukraine in the fight against the invasion of Russian troops, and a few days after Trump’s public dispute with President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky in the Oval office, which caused indignation at European allies.

US Vice President, Jay Di Vance, commenting on journalists on March 4, stopping state assistance to Ukraine, said it was done to encourage negotiations.

“We are at a point when neither the United States nor Europe, nor Ukrainians can continue this war endlessly. Therefore, it is important that everyone sit at the negotiating table, and the President tries to send a very clear signal: Ukrainians have to return to the negotiation table and start negotiating with President Trump, ”he said.

Vance also believes that additional pressure on Russia would not be correct at this time, because it is undergoing “economic complications because of this conflict.”

Zelensky emphasized that Ukraine would not go into peace talks with Russia until security guarantees for a new invasion.

Instead, the Kremlin says that Russia continues its dialogue with Washington and at the same time “continues a special military operation to achieve all those goals that have been set from the beginning.” Earlier, Russia called the “demilitarization and denacification of Ukraine” the purpose of “special operations”.
