“The US president was shocked by this message, literally outraged, he could not assume such crazy actions. And as it was said, this will definitely affect the American approaches to work with Zelensky,” he explained.
Ushakov added that after the agreements reached, Russia’s positions will be reviewed. According to him, Moscow cannot do otherwise.
We will remind:
- The day before, the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Sergey Lavrov, said that Ukraine allegedly struck the residence of the Russian leader Vladimir Putin on Monday night, because of which the negotiating position will be “revised.”
- According to Lavrov, on Monday night, Ukraine allegedly attacked Putin’s residence in the Novgorod region (probably the residence in Valdai) using 91 attack UAVs. As a result, Lavrov claims, “Russia’s negotiating position will be revised,” but Russia allegedly has no intention of withdrawing from the negotiation process with the United States regarding Ukraine.
- Note that Ukraine has officially denied this information.
- “Another lie of the Russian Federation. It is clear that yesterday we had a meeting with Trump and it is clear that for the Russians, if we do not have a scandal with America, and we have progress, then for them it is a failure. They do not want to end this war. They are able to end it only because of pressure on them,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy commented on this statement.
