The Kremlin has dramatically changed its rhetoric on military expenditures, paying attention to Ukraine’s external intelligence service.

According to Ukrainian intelligence, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov during a visit to Kyrgyzstan emphasized that “Mirolubiva” Russia, unlike NATO, plans to reduce the cost of defense, a day earlier this message was voiced by Putin.

According to the SCR observations, a sharp change in the Kremlin’s economic rhetoric took place after the Minister of Economic Development of Russia Reshetnikov and the head of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation of Nabiullina, that the country is “on the verge of recession” and reducing by 13 % of the costs of the social sphere.

The external intelligence service believes that in this way Moscow tries to soften the consequences of the future economic collapse with the help of another “propaganda trick”.

“The sanction pressure has reduced the revenues from the sale of Russian oil and gas by 33% compared to the same period of the previous year. The debt of Russian wage employers is increasing catastrophically: in January – almost $ 4.8 million, and as of June 1, it exceeded $ 21 million. This year, the Russian Federation increases the tariffs for utilities by almost 13 %, and since May next year this figure will be 20 %(+7 %), ”the CZR said.
