Details: The decree signed by the Minister of Defense of Italy, Guido Crozetto, in agreement with the Ministers of Foreign Affairs and the Economy, allows “the transfer of military vehicles, materials and equipment to the governmental bodies of Ukraine”.

The list of this equipment is given in a secret document compiled by the General Staff of the Italian Armed Forces. Its content, as in previous cases, is not published for security reasons.
Vehicles, materials and equipment, as stated in the decree, “are transferred to the recipient free of charge.”
George Maloney’s government has previously sent 11 aid packages since Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022, totaling between €2.5bn and €3bn.
According to unofficial data, Italy handed over two batteries of SAMP/T air defense systems to Kyiv.
In October, it was reported that the 12th package of military aid to Ukraine from Italy may be ready by the end of 2025.
In addition, Italy has signaled that it is ready to join NATO’s PURL initiative for the purchase of American weapons, including Patriot missiles, at the expense of European funds.
