The High Council of Justice has decided to dismiss the judge of the district administrative court of Kyiv Alyona Mazur due to a significant disciplinary misconduct, the GRP press service reported on March 20.

The dismissal was on the basis of the submission of the first disciplinary Chamber of the GRP, which found it necessary to use disciplinary punishment in the form of deprivation of a judicial position, the message said.

In June 2023, Mazur filed a resignation application that could provide her with a pension and life -long privileges, but the High Council of Justice rejected her.

Alona Mazur appeared in the case of the so -called “wolf film” – records that pointed to the possible corruption actions of the leadership of the OASK. She allegedly agreed to follow the illegal instructions of the court leadership.

The Kyiv District Administrative Court is known for scandalous decisions, including state bodies. He was headed by Judge Pavel Vovk, who appears in corruption investigations. In 2019, NABU released the Wolf’s film, which has attempted to interfere with the work of the judiciary.

According to the Project of Radio Liberty Scheme, in 2022, the Kyiv District Administrative Court, headed by Judge Pavel Vovk, had to play a key role in the establishment of power controlled by Russia in the control of Russia, making a decision in favor of Viktor Yanukovych for two lawsuits about allegedly unlawful deprivation of his status.

On April 13, 2021, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy brought to Parliament as an “urgent” bill on the liquidation of the OASK, but Parliament did not adopt him for a long time. On December 13, 2022, the Verkhovna Rada supported the liquidation of the District Administrative Court as a whole.

The OASK stated that this decision of the Verkhovna Rada did not comply with the Constitution of Ukraine, the provisions of legislation and the requirements of wartime. OASK representatives believe that their work is trying to “stop politically motivated decisions.”

OASK Pavel Vovk’s chairman and 11 more are suspected that they “acted within the limits of a criminal organization headed by the OASK chairman, which aimed at seizing state power by establishing control over the High Qualifications Commission of Judges of Ukraine (CCSU), the High Council of Justice (GRP).
