High Representative of the EU for foreign and security policy Kaya Kallas is calling an extraordinary meeting of the EU Council on Foreign Affairs on Wednesday, November 26, to discuss the “peace plan” for Ukraine. The meeting will be held in a virtual format via video link.

What preceded:
- At the negotiations in Geneva, the USA and Ukraine developed a new 19-point peace agreement, but the most politically sensitive issues were left to the discretion of the presidents of both countries.
- According to the media, no meetings are scheduled between the presidents of the United States and Ukraine this week in connection with discussions of the “peace plan” of the United States to end the war this week.
- The Kremlin said it had not received any “peace plans” since the Geneva talks, and criticized adjustments to the plan proposed by European leaders.
