“As a result of the GUR operation of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, directly implemented by the representative of the movement of resistance to the criminal Russian regime, both military planes of the aggressor were disabled. The estimated total value of the two damaged fighter jets, which Russia used in the genocidal war against Ukraine, could be up to 100 million dollars,” said the message published on December 22.
The GUR added that the planning of the special operation took two weeks.
“The studied patrol route and the schedule of changing the guards made it possible to infiltrate the military facility of the aggressor state unnoticed, hit the Russian “dryers” directly in the protective aircraft hangar, and then leave the airfield unhindered,” the intelligence agency noted, posting a video of the operation.
The Russian side has not yet commented on the situation. Usually, the authorities and the military of the Russian Federation rarely confirm the loss or destruction of military equipment.
