The Cabinet of Ministers supported a bill that guarantees additional rights and protection for servicemen who report on possible facts of corruption or related offenses. The Cabinet of Ministers supported a bill that guarantees additional rights and protection for servicemen who report on possible facts of corruption or related offenses.

Details: The Law provides for:

Advertising:

  • the right of military personnel to send reports of possible corruption facts to the authorized units or persons on the prevention and detection of corruption;
  • the ability to freely choose a channel for the message, including contact the NAPC;
  • The exception to the obligation to report to the direct commander about such facts.

According to Shmigal, the purpose of changes is to increase transparency in defense forces, to guarantee every serviceman a safe mechanism of informing about corruption and reliable protection against persecution or pressure.
