According to the Ministry of Energy, from now on, the requirement for the level of monthly wages above 2.5 minimum wages for the last calendar quarter is not applied to the reservation of operator employees.
Operators were also given the opportunity to choose a criterion for the size of the accrued average salary of employees – not less than the average size in the region for the IV quarter of 2021, as one of the three mandatory criteria.
Today, during question time to the government in the Verkhovna Rada, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said that the government will separately book repair crews of regional gas companies above the norm.

In November, the Cabinet of Ministers updated the reservation criteria and the criteria for obtaining criticality. The government hopes this will reduce the risk of abuse where companies employ a person for a “shadow” booking arrangement.
In order to book its employees, the enterprise must obtain or update its critical importance according to the new mandatory criteria. The business has until the end of February 2025 to do this.
