The command says that in the South-Slobozhansk direction, the Ukrainian military stopped six attacks by the Russian Federation in the area of the settlement of Vovchansk and towards the settlements of Grafske and Vilcha.
“There were nine attacks by invaders in the Kupyansk direction yesterday. Ukrainian defenders repelled enemy assaults in the direction of Kupyansk, Petropavlivka, Kurylivka, Pischany, Bohuslavka. In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked ten times, trying to wedge into Ukrainian defenses in the direction of Druzhelyubivka settlement and in the area of Drobysheve, Seredne, Novoselivka, Zarichne settlements,” the General Staff said in an operational report.
The Ukrainian military noted that in the Pokrovsky direction, the Defense Forces stopped 47 assaults of the Russian Federation in the areas of the settlements of Zatyshok, Rodynske, Chervyn Liman, Myrnograd, Pokrovsk, Kotlyna, Udachne, Molodetske, Nikanorivka and in the direction of Novopavlivka, Novoaleksandrivka, Hryshiny, Sergiyvka, Bilytskyi and Filia.
According to the American Institute for the Study of War, Russian forces increased their average rate of advance in 2025 thanks to the new operational pattern, but did not achieve their priority objectives in the specified time frames.
