The defense forces used the Ukrainian FP-5 Flamingo cruise missile for the first time in the spring of 2025.

Details: Lykhoviy says that the missile has “great declared tactical and technical characteristics and great potential for development”, but, according to him, it is still an experimental weapon.

Details: According to the military, if the FT1 drone underwent a significant modernization in two years, then in the case of the FP5 it is more difficult to do, because “launches are calculated with slightly different numbers.”

Chief Technical Director of Fire Point Iryna Terek said that missile production is expanding and scaling up according to the original plan.

Also, the co-owners of the company said that a plant is being built in Denmark for the production of solid-fuel engines for accelerators for the FP-5, as well as for the FP-7, FP-9 ballistic missiles that are being developed.
