According to the headquarters service, the enemy identified one of his goals to improve the tactical position in the Yampol area.

In support of the offensive actions of their own troops, Russian propaganda resources within the framework of information and psychological influence spread false reports of the alleged promotion of the invaders in N.P. Yampil. This is another attempt to panic and misinform the population, ”the message reads.
The General Staff notes that Yampil is under the control of the Defense Forces of Ukraine, Russian sabotage and intelligence groups that are trying to infiltrate, neutralize and have not achieved any tactical success.

The spokesman of the Armed Forces General Staff Andriy Kovalev in a comment to the Interfax-Ukraine agency said that the city of Kupyansk in Kharkiv is under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to him, in the north of the cities, search and shooter actions against Russian invaders are ongoing, active contradictory measures are being held. Kovalev added that the entrance for civilians to the city is limited to effectively conduct these measures of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Earlier, the head of Kupyansk MVA Andriy Beshydin said that the situation in Kupyansk is critical. According to him, it is impossible to get into the city, there is a contradictory operation.
The other day there were reports that the forces of the Russian Federation were trying to penetrate sabotage groups from 2-5 people to the city, they are masked under civilians and use the terrain to avoid identification.
In 2022 Kupyansk and other settlements of Kharkiv region were under Russian occupation for more than half a year. In September 2022, the Ukrainian military liberated the city.
