The General Staff of the Armed Forces updated the data on the loss of the Russian Federation: 1200 military per day

Russia has lost about 1 013,700 of its military during a full -scale invasion of Ukraine, including 1,200 people – in the last day, as of June 24, the Ukrainian General Staff reported on June 24.

The Armed Forces command also reported other losses of the Russian Federation:

  • Tanks – 10966 (+1 – a day)
  • Battle armored vehicles – 22879 (+7)
  • Artillery systems – 29511 (+21)
  • RSZV – 1424 (+1)
  • air defense means – 1188
  • Planes – 416
  • Helicopters – 337
  • UAV Operative-tactical level-41915 (+198)
  • Winged missiles – 3388 (+12)
  • ships / boats – 28
  • submarines – 1
  • Automobile equipment and tanker trucks – 52961 (+100)
  • Special equipment – 3920.

Russia does not officially disclose its losses. Moscow last called the number of killed in September 2022 – then declared 5937 dead. On March 5, intelligence of the United Kingdom said that, since the beginning of 2025, Russia probably lost about 90,000 soldiers killed and wounded in the war against Ukraine.

Kyiv also did not voice losses for a long time, stating that the data would be disclosed after the war. At the same time, on February 16, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said in an interview with NBC News that since February 2022, Ukraine lost more than 46,000 soldiers and about 380,000 in the war.
