The General Staff of the Armed Forces reports more than 58 combatants at the front from the beginning of the day

The Russian army continues to storm the positions of defense forces. Since the beginning of the day, the total number of fighting collisions along the entire front line is 58, reports the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the summary for 16 hours on February 26.

“In the Pokrovsky direction today the enemy has attacked the positions of our defenders in the areas of settlements Tarasivka, Novotoretske, Miroubivka, Ray, Leontovich, Kotline, Lucky, Nadivka, Uspenivka, five capitals continue,” – the post reads.

According to the headquarters, eight attacks of Russian troops in the areas of settlements Konstantinopil, Rozdolne and Burlatske were reflected in the Novopavlovsky direction, another attack is still ongoing.

“Ten combat clashes took place today in the Kursk direction, five are still ongoing. In addition, the enemy struck 7 aviation strikes, dropped nine and 193 artillery shelling, ”the command says.

Also, Russian troops attacked Kharkiv, Kupyansk, Lyman, Kramatorsk, Toretsky, Gulyaypil and Orikhiv directions.

The Pokrovsky direction in the Donetsk region remains one of the hottest areas of the front. Over the last year, the largest number of combat clashes is recorded there.

On February 26, the operational-strategic group of Khortytsa troops reported that the Ukrainian military in the Pokrovsky direction was taken under control of the settlement of Kotline.

On February 25, the DeepState project reported that the defense forces were again able to swell the Russian army near Pokrovsk – in the Uspenivka southwest of the city.
