According to detailed information from the headquarters, yesterday the Russian invaders launched two missile and 91 air strikes on the territory of Ukraine, using two missiles and dropping 204 guided air bombs. In addition, 7,518 kamikaze drones were engaged for destruction and 4,124 attacks were carried out on the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas, including 74 from rocket salvo systems.
In the Pokrovsky direction, Ukrainian defenders stopped 44 assault and offensive actions of the aggressor in the areas of Nikanorivka, Rodynske, Myrnograd, Pokrovsk, Kotlyna, Udachne, Molodetske, Horikhov and towards Filia.
In the Gulyaipol direction, the enemy attacked the positions of Ukrainian defenders 20 times in the areas of Gulyaipol, Sweetsky, and in the direction of Dobropill, Varvarivka, and Sviatpetrivka. Also, in the direction of Kostyantynivka, the enemy carried out 15 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Kleban-Bik, Yablunivka, Rusyn Yar and in the direction of Kostyantynivka and Novopavlivka.
The fighting continues in the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk, South-Slobozhansk, Kupyansk, Lymansk, Slovyansk, Kramatorsk, Oleksandrivsk and Prydniprovsk directions.
No clashes were recorded in the Orichivsk direction last day.
On January 19, the Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Oleksandr Syrskyi, reported that a grueling confrontation continues in the Pokrovsk-Myrnograd agglomeration area – about half a hundred battles take place here every day. According to him, the enemy is pulling up reserves to Pokrovsk, looking for opportunities to break through the Ukrainian defense both through sporadic mass assaults and through covert advances by small infantry groups.
According to the American Institute for the Study of War, Russian forces increased their average rate of advance in 2025 thanks to the new operational pattern, but did not achieve their priority objectives in the specified time frames.
Fighting in Pokrovsk has been going on since October 2025, when the Russian army managed to break through to the city after several months of fighting on its slopes. Almost immediately, Russian soldiers began to be recorded in Pokrovsk’s satellite city of Mirnograd. On the map of the DeepState project, most of both are now under the control of the aggressor, the rest is in the “gray zone”. The Pokrovsky direction, according to the reports of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, constantly leads in terms of the number of Russian assaults.
