As reported on the General Staff on the morning of February 24, the blow of the unmanned the unmanned systems of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Main Directorate of Intelligence, in cooperation with other components of defense forces, was struck at night.
“There are at least five explosions in the target area. Previously, there was a fire in the area of primary ELOU AT-6 oil processing installation. The results of the lesion are specified, ”the message reads.
The General Staff added that on the eve of the units of the unmanned forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck the oil depot in the Russian Federation. It is reported that a fire was recorded in the FDCU area of the 8 March plant in the Tula region of Russia.
This is the third from the beginning of the year an attack on the Ryazan refinery. The strikes on January 24 and 26 were also confirmed in the General Staff of the Armed Forces, declaring explosions and fire on the territory of the enterprise, which, as claimed, produces diesel and jet fuel for the Russian army.
Earlier today, Russian telegrams have published videos with a fire at the Ryazan refinery. There are no victims. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation mentioned the Ryazan region in the report on reflection of UAV attacks, stating that two of them were beaten over this region.
The Russian edition of ASTRA estimated that since the beginning of 2025 the Armed Forces have attacked 27 fuel and energy facilities in Russia. The strikes were mostly made with drones, but rockets were used. Ryazan refinery and oil depot in the Voronezh region have repeatedly attacked.
The Ryazan refinery was put into operation in 1960, now it is under the control of Rosneft.
