“It is necessary to call a spade a spade. Hungary is the only obstacle to Ukraine’s membership in the EU. Moreover, I believe that the Prime Minister of Hungary is a threat to his people,” Sibiga said.
According to the minister, this applies not only to Hungarians in Hungary, but also to those living in Ukraine. “Because he (Orbán. – Ed.) is blocking the inclusion of part of the Hungarian people in the common European space,” Sibiga explained his position.
He also commented on the disappearance from the pre-election rhetoric of the Hungarian authorities of issues related to the rights of Hungarians living abroad. “Because they (Orban’s government. – Ed.) are focused on polls, on the mood of the voters,” – believes the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Sybiga also explained his latest sharp statements against Hungary and assured that Ukraine is preparing for various scenarios after the Hungarian parliamentary elections, which are to be held in April.
