On November 13, the fifth Kyiv Jewish Forum takes place, an annual event that brings together leading world leaders to exchange opinions and proposals on the most pressing issues facing Jewish communities around the world.
KJF-2024 is organized by the Jewish Confederation of Ukraine, headed by Boris Lozhkin, and Israel’s leading media, The Jerusalem Post.
This year, the forum is held online with the main venue in Washington.
“Speakers and guests of the forum will try to find answers to the questions of how to confront the modern axis of evil, which is formed by Russia, Iran and North Korea. They will also seek answers to how to eliminate the threat of growing anti-Semitism around the world and how to preserve the unity of the Jewish diaspora. The role of the USA in solving all these issues is decisive,” said the president of the Jewish Confederation of Ukraine, vice-president of the World Jewish Congress, Boris Lozhkin.
The main goal of KJF-2024 is to emphasize the importance of trilateral relations between the USA, Ukraine and Israel in ending the two largest wars of our time.
Among the participants of KJF-2024 are Ambassador of Ukraine to the USA Oksana Markarova, Ambassador of the State of Israel to Ukraine Mykhailo Brodskyi; American Jewish Committee CEO Ted Deutsch; Speaker of the Knesset (2013−2020) Yoel Edelstein; Mykhailo Podolyak, adviser to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine; John Herbst, director of the Eurasian Center of the Atlantic Council; Soviet dissident, Israeli politician and human rights defender Natan Sharansky and others.
