At the same time, the head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration (OVA) Maxim Kozytsky stressed that the sculptures of hoes are “not just art, but fixed in clay, bronze, stones and wood symbols of our era.”
“I thank you for the honor of knowing you personally and inspired by the warmth of our communication and your views on life, art and the world,” the head of the Ova wrote and expressed sincere peace of the artist.
Yaroslav Motik He was born on January 10, 1943 in the village of Staromyshchyna, Ternopil region. Subsequently, the family moved to Lviv, where Yaroslav attended an art school.
The artist graduated from the Lviv Institute of Applied and Decorative Arts. The diploma work of hoe sculpture “Lily” in Stryi Park in Lviv is one of the most famous in the city.
In 1972, Yaroslav Motika became a laureate of the Taras Shevchenko State Prize of Ukraine.
The artist worked in the field of easel, decorative and monumental sculpture, plastic small forms and artistic ceramics. He created a gallery of portraits of famous Ukrainians.
