The Excellence of Culture Tokchitsky returned to the post of Ambassador of Ukraine to the Council of Europe

President Volodymyr Zelensky has appointed a former Minister of Culture Mykola Tochytsky a permanent representative of Ukraine at the Council of Europe. President Volodymyr Zelensky has appointed a former Minister of Culture Mykola Tochytsky a permanent representative of Ukraine at the Council of Europe.

Details: By another decree Zelensky released Boris Tarasyuk from office Representative of Ukraine at the Council of Europe.

Tochitsky has already held this position in 2010–2016. He then worked in governing diplomatic positions, in particular – from 2016 to 2021 he was an ambassador of Ukraine to Belgium and in combination with a representative of Ukraine with the EU.

From September 2021 to April 2024, Tocitsky was the deputy head of the Foreign Ministry, and from April to September 2024 – Deputy Head of the Presidential Office of Ukraine.

A little less than a year of Totchytsky Worked as Minister of Culture and strategic communications of Ukraine in the government of Denis Shmigal.
