According to the investigation, at the time of submitting the annual declaration for 2023, the suspect held the position of deputy of the Kharkiv District Council of the VIII convocation. Contrary to the requirements of the anti-corruption legislation, he did not include in the declaration information that was subject to mandatory declaration, for a total amount of more than 31.5 million hryvnias.
In particular, the Porsche Cayenne car, which he bought for 1.3 million hryvnias and later sold for 1.4 million hryvnias, is not specified.
Monetary assets are also not specified – balances of funds in accounts in several banks, the total amount of which at the end of the reporting period exceeded 173 thousand hryvnias.
The deputy also “forgot” to enter data on a loan from an individual in the amount of 700,000 euros, which, according to the official rate of the NBU, amounts to more than 28.7 million hryvnias.
In addition, the declarant did not indicate income in the form of interest from the bank.
In general, the information specified in the declaration differs from the reliable information in the amount of more than 31.5 million hryvnias.
In the summer of 2025, the mandate of the deputy was prematurely terminated. Law enforcement officers found him in Odesa, where he currently lives temporarily, the prosecutor’s office notes.
Under the procedural guidance of the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office, he was informed of the suspicion of entering notoriously unreliable information into the declaration.
