Details: On December 31, Prime Minister Yulia Svyridenko announced on social networks that the nomination committee, which includes government representatives and independent observers, approved the independent members of the new supervisory board of NAEK “Energoatom”.

“We are very glad that new independent members have appeared in the supervisory board. We look forward to the final formation of the board in January,” – commented on Facebook, the head of the EU representation in Kyiv, Maternova.
The independent members of the supervisory board will be international expert in nuclear safety and regulatory oversight Rumina Velshi, specialist in finance, audit and risk management in energy and infrastructure Laura Garbenchute-Bakiene, engineer and international manager in the nuclear and energy industry Patrick Fragman and Brice Bouillon, lawyer in energy regulation and corporate governance.
Svyridenko added that the selection of three state representatives to the supervisory board will be completed in the first half of January.
