The EU Council approved a tranche of EUR 2.3 billion for Ukraine under the Ukraine Facility

The Council of the EU approved the sixth tranche of about 2.3 billion euros for Ukraine within the framework of the Ukraine Facility program, the press service of the European institution reports. It is noted that this amount reflects Ukraine’s successful completion of the eight steps required to receive the sixth tranche, as well as the completion of an unfinished step from the fourth tranche. “Ukraine has fulfilled 8 out of 10 indicators provided for in the Plan of Ukraine, and has implemented a number of systemic reforms in public finance management, green transition and environmental protection, as well as optimization of the business environment, financial markets and the judicial system,” said Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyridenko.”, — write: www.radiosvoboda.org
