Details: On the eve of Leshek Miller criticized Vladimir Zelensky for his words that Poland would not be able to save the population in the event of a mass attack.

Leshek Miller assessed that the Ukrainian president, in addition to the victory over Russia, is interested in “provocation of a collective military response from NATO, so that soldiers from the Member States appear in Ukraine and began direct fighting with Russia.”
“Regardless of the sympathy we have to Zelensky here in Poland, we must remember that we have different interests in this matter,” he added.
The Embassy of Ukraine called Miller’s statements on the eve of Poland’s Viceremer’s visit to Kiev “provocative and unacceptable” and regarded them as an attempt to undermine mutual respect and confidence that is the basis of constructive and strategic relations between Ukraine and Poland.
“Ukraine, which for 1303 days has repelled the full -scale aggression of Russia, was the first to propose practical assistance after a provocative Russian attack on the night of September 9 to 10. We all have to take into account the real facts. We are happy to note that we already have real steps in the direction of strengthening Ukraine.
The embassy emphasized that security is based on specific, real actions, not empty rhetoric, and every practical step on the way to cooperation, strengthening defense opportunities and protecting life is of real value.
In an interview with Sky News, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Poland was unable to protect its population in the event of a massive attack because it is not at war.

- On Thursday, the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Denis Shmigal and the Minister of Defense of Poland Vladislav Kosyk-Kikish agreed to create a joint operational group of unmanned aviation systems, which will include representatives of the Ukrainian and Polish Armed Forces.
