“From the preliminary findings, it follows that it was a toy drone without a memory card and SIM card. Further procedural actions are currently underway,” the report said.
It is claimed that the fall of the object did not cause any damage.
Janusz Seimei, a spokesman for the Ministry of National Defense, told the PAP news agency on Monday that after an inspection of the facility, it was found that it did not contain “any devices necessary to monitor or read any data”.
He added that “it was in no way a threat to this unit, but rather a toy that escaped from one of the residents.”
“I want to assure everyone who repeats the information that this was a drone with surveillance or even espionage functions. Nothing of the sort happened,” the spokesman for the Ministry of National Defense assured.
On Monday, the radio station Radio Zet reported that last Wednesday, a drone, which could allegedly collect secret information, fell on the territory of a military unit in Pszasnysh.
We will remind you that on January 30, Poland signed a contract for the development and supply of the latest San anti-drone system, which will be used as part of the “Eastern Shield” system.
