“The driver of the car fled the scene, leaving his car and the victims behind. Previously, being in a state of alcohol intoxication, he drove into the oncoming lane, where he collided with a truck,” he said.
Then, according to Biloshitskyi, the truck became uncontrollable and ran into a minibus.
“As a result, 7 people died, three people were hospitalized. The BMW driver has already been detained. The pre-trial investigation is ongoing,” the policeman said.
On Sunday, December 15, a triple traffic accident involving a road train, a car and a minibus took place near Lviv. As previously determined by the police, there was a collision of three vehicles – a BMW car, a DAF truck, and a Mercedes Sprinter minibus.
Earlier, on November 22, a passenger car and a Hust-Lviv regular bus collided in Transcarpathia, the 22-year-old driver of the passenger car was killed.

According to his data, given in May, for four months of the year, the police recorded almost 50,000 cases of drunken driving.
