“This week alone, the Defense Forces of Ukraine shot down 33 missiles, including ballistic ones, and 311 attack drones in our sky. Another 136 drones, which are used in daily attacks on infrastructure, did not achieve their goals,” Zelenskyi said.
He expressed great gratitude to Ukrainian soldiers, military aviation, anti-aircraft guns, electronic warfare units and mobile fire groups.
“But it is an unchanging task to continue to strengthen the protection of our sky. In just one week, the Russian army used about 550 attack drones, almost 60 missiles of various types and more than 660 aerial bombs. More “Patriots” for Ukraine means more protection of life. More long-range for Ukraine means more guarantees that the Russian war will be stopped,” Zelensky emphasized.
