On Wednesday morning, law enforcement officers received a report from a local resident that she found the body of her 41-year-old son with stab wounds in an apartment on Lesya Ukrainka Square.
Investigators, criminologists, operatives and a forensic medical expert worked at the scene, who conducted primary investigative actions, analyzed video from surveillance cameras and interviewed witnesses.
It was preliminarily established that at the time of the incident, the entrance door to the apartment was closed and had no signs of a break, and the deceased was holding a knife, which probably caused the injuries, in his hand. In addition, interviewed residents of the specified building reported that they did not hear any noise or sounds of struggle.
It was also established that the deceased had depressive disorders for a long time, which was reflected in his behavior. The night before, the man had another nervous breakdown, and in the morning his mother found him without signs of life and informed the police.
