The death of a soldier from an explosion in Odesa – the SBU is investigating a terrorist attack

The SBU has opened criminal proceedings under the article of a terrorist act due to the fact of a car explosion in Odesa, as a result of which a serviceman died.

Details: Earlier, UP sources reported that the deceased was a 21-year-old military man.

The Security Service together with the National Police conduct complex measures to establish all the circumstances of the event and the persons involved in its commission.

The pre-trial investigation continues under Article 258 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (terrorist act).

Prehistory:

• Around 5:00 a.m. on February 6, a car exploded near a residential building on Akademik Korolev Street in Odesa, resulting in the death of a military driver.
