Details: In a letter to Metsola Zdekhovsky described “anxious signs” that the official delegation he headed was deliberately conducted.

Literally: “It is especially anxious that during an evening meeting with informants – including from Slovak security services – we had good reason to believe that our activities are deliberately monitoring.”
Details: The MEP stressed that such actions “are unacceptable and contradictory to the principles of cooperation between Member States and EU institutions.”
He also drew attention to the public statements of Slovak high -ranking officials, including the Minister of Internal Affairs, Matusha Shutai Ashtok and the Minister of Environmental Protection Tomasha Tarabi, who criticized the European Parliament’s mission.
These statements Zdekhovsky called politically motivated efforts to discredit the delegation.
According to him, the most fierce attacks came from the Prime Minister of Slovakia Robert Fitzo, who recently called him a “political murderer.”
Zdekhovsky believes that the words of Slovak Prime Minister is an attempt to delegitimize the mission and its conclusions.
The Czech Mestouput urged Metsol to raise this issue before the leadership of the European Parliament and consider possible measures against the Slovak government.
“I urge you to defend the integrity and independence of our parliamentary missions with all of respect,” he wrote, he wrote,
Zdekhovsky also warned that such intervention is especially dangerous “at a time when authoritarian trends are growing in some parts of the EU.”
The delegation, led by Zdekhovsky, investigated the use of the EU -Slovakia by the Government to support tourism.
Fitzo argued that his government has no corruption scandal, and called previous governments guilty of possible abuse of EU funds.

- The other day, a judge of the Slovak Slovak Criminal Court, Milan Tsysarik, imposed a fine of 200 thousand euros on the head of the country’s central bank Petro Kazimir for bribery to the head of the tax service.
