On June 27, the court applied to Chernyshov a preventive measure in the form of a pledge of 120 million UAH with a number of procedural duties, including arrival at each requirement for a detective, prosecutor or court, to inform about changing his place of residence and/or place of work, not to get away from the territory of Ukraine, or;
These duties are valid until August 27, 2025.
On July 2, the Wax reported that the pledge for Chernyshov was made in full.
On June 23, NABU and SAP reported Chernyshov’s suspicion, at that time, “the current Viceremier-Minister of Ukraine, who previously held the post of Minister of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine.” He is suspected of abuse of office and receiving undue benefits in particularly large size for himself and third parties.
It is a probable illegal provision of a land plot in Kiev to one of the capital’s developers under the construction of a residential complex at a low price in exchange for discounts for apartments for “minister and defined persons”.
It is reported that Chernyshov became the sixth suspect in the case of a large -scale corruption scheme in the construction sphere with the participation of top officials. He previously called the suspicion unjustified.
At the same time, the head of the SAP Alexander Klimenko in an interview with the Mirror of the Week, published on August 7, said that there are additional episodes in this case.
“There are more episodes in this case than it has become known to society through suspicions. They are investigated. If enough evidence is collected, the society learns from the official channels of NABU and the SAP, ”Klimenko said.
