It was proved that in the summer of 2023, the convicted person has repeatedly provoked conflicts with the employees of territorial centers in Poltava, he grossly offended the military using obscene vocabulary, and shot it on the camera. Subsequently, he published these videos with humiliating comments on social networks, while denying the fact of armed aggression of the Russian Federation, the Prosecutor General’s office said.
He did not admit his guilt. Prior to the entry into force of the sentence, it will be in custody.
On August 29, 2023, during the inspection of the documents by police, the Poltava behaved aggressively, ignored the requirements to stop unlawful behavior, and during the detention he resisted and caused bodily harm to the militia. OGP notes that according to the conclusion of medical examination, at the time of the incident he was in a state of narcotic intoxication.
The local edition of Poltava region reported that on the evening of August 29, 2023, law enforcement officers detained 27-year-old Instagram-blogger Roman Zavorovyk. According to the newspaper, it was a joint detention of the KORD and SBU special police unit. He has been in custody since the detention.
