On January 13, the Commercial Court of Dnipropetrovsk region declared bankrupt and opened the liquidation procedure of the Dniprovsky Mashzavod, which produced means and communication systems, as well as Dnipro refrigerators, microwave furnaces, tape records and more.

The Dniprovsky Machine -Building Plant was founded in 1952, 25% of the enterprise are owned by the state and West Energoinvest LLC, another 9.1% – LLC Active Enterprise.
In 2019, the Economic Court of Dnipropetrovsk region violated the bankruptcy of the Mashzavod.
At the same time, in 2020, a plan of its rehabilitation was approved to restore solvency and repayment of debt to creditors.
Since the redevelopment plan failed, creditors’ meetings in early 2024 were recognized as appropriate to apply a liquidation procedure to the Dnieper Mashzavod.
As it was reported, in November 2024 the court found a bankruptcy of a coal factory of arrested businessman Vitaliy Kropachev.
