The Pechersk court until October 19, the extension of the precautionary measure of the Board of the Board of the Center for Combating Corruption Vitaliy Shabunin in the form of a personal obligation.

According to the Center for Combating Corruption, Judge Litvinova satisfied the lawsuit of the expenser of the head of the Presidential Administration Yanukovych Andriy Portnov against the channel “Direct”. She also obliged the Exoen Prosecutor Irina Venediktov to pick up the second episode of the Dubnevich Brothers TPP from NABU and transfer to another body.

That preceded:

• On August 14, the DBR employees completed the investigation of criminal proceedings against the Chairman of the Board of the Center for Combating Corruption Vitaliy Shabunin, after familiarization with the case file, the indictment will be transferred to court.
• The DBR also stated that on August 14, electronic gadgets were returned to the suspect during a search at his place of residence. The return decision was made after all the necessary procedural actions.
• The investigation throws Shabunin that, having mobilized in 2022, he said, for a long time, he did not appear to the place of service and under the guise of “business trips” was in civilian institutions that were not on defense forces. He is also charged with receiving monthly cash, despite the absence in the service than, according to the investigation, more than 224 thousand UAH was caused to the state.
• In addition, it was stated that during the investigation the circumstances of the use of a vehicle intended for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were investigated, as a result of which the reasons for notifying the suspicion were not found.
• The serviceman is charged with Part 4 of Art. 409 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – evasion of military service in the conditions of martial law, Part 2 of Art. 190 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – fraud.

Recall:

• On July 11, the DBR announced Shabunin of suspicion of evasion of military service and fraud.
• Shabunin called President Vladimir Zelensky after the searches and stated that he was taking “confident steps towards corruption authoritarianism.”
• On July 15, the Pechersk Court of Kiev elected Shabunin a preventive measure in the form of a personal obligation by August 20.
• More than half a hundred NGOs responded to the case against the chairman of the Center for Combating Corruption and called on Zelensky, as well as OGP leaders Ruslan Kravchenko and DBR Alexei Sukhachev to stop using a system of justice for political massacres.
