Details: The Podil District Court of Kropyvnytskyi chose Velichka as a preventive measure in the form of detention with the alternative of providing bail in the amount of 500,000 hryvnias.
Prehistory:
- On January 28, the mayor of Velichko was involved in a traffic accident near the village of Pushkove, Golovaniv district, Kirovohrad region, as a result of which a person died.
- Previously, there were three people in the Renault Megane car that collided with the mayor’s vehicle: the driver died at the scene, a married couple – a man and a woman – are in a medical facility with injuries.
- Velichka was informed of the suspicion under Part 2 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code – violation of road safety rules that caused the death of the victim or caused serious bodily injury.
