At repeated meetings, the official invited a “fee” for his positive solution to the applicant, as there is a significant competition for such activity. Understanding the illegality of the requirements, the entrepreneur appealed to law enforcement.
In May 2025, at the next meeting, the official voiced a specific amount – $ 1000 for each permission to install a temporary structure.
After that, the mayor initiated the consideration and lobbies the interests of the entrepreneur at meetings of the working group and the executive committee, and then personally signed the relevant decisions on the approval of places for the placement of stopping complexes in certain locations.
On June 20, the operatives of the Strategic Investigation Department in the Zhytomyr region and investigators of the investigative department of the regional police detained the official on receiving $ 2,000 of undue benefit.
