On the eve of the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmigal asked for his resignation, publishing his statement.

It happened after President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky suggested that Sviridenko head the Government of Ukraine and “significantly update his work.”
The President proposes to head the Ministry of Defense to the current head of the Cabinet Denis Shmigal. According to him, Shmigal’s “tremendous experience” will definitely be useful in this position.
Since March 2020, the Prime Minister of Ukraine has been occupied by Denis Shmigal.
