This legislative initiative appeared against the backdrop of another debate on the possible resignation of Prime Minister Denis Shmigal and his government.
On June 16, the People’s Deputy of the Voice faction Yaroslav Zheleznyak, who is one of the authors of the bill, suggested that in June the Verkhovna Rada could be amended into a law that will allow the prime minister Denis Shmigal and to stop the power of the current government in martial law.
