The Council extended the moratorium on the bankruptcy of “Eastern GZK” until 2026

The Verkhovna Rada has extended the moratorium on the bankruptcy of “Eastern GZK” until 2026. The document prohibits the seizure of the company’s property and provides for the removal of already imposed seizures by 2026.”, — write on: unn.ua

The Verkhovna Rada adopted the draft law as a whole, which provides for a one-year extension of the moratorium on bankruptcy, as well as a ban on the seizure of property of the state-owned enterprise “Eastern Mining and Processing Combine”, located in Zhovty Vody, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. He writes about it UNN with reference to draft law No. 12220 and People’s Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak.

“No. 12220 – extension of the moratorium on the bankruptcy of state mines. In total – 244”, – said Zheleznyak.

According to the draft law, until January 1, 2026, bankruptcy proceedings will not be initiated, and the initiated proceedings will be subject to termination in relation to the debtor – the state-owned enterprise “Eastern Mining and Processing Plant”.

It is also assumed that by this time, execution of executive actions and measures of enforcement of decisions (including the seizure of property and funds) in executive proceedings in which the debtor is “Eastern Mining and Processing Plant” will be suspended.

In addition, seizures imposed on the company’s funds or property are subject to cancellation.

The Verkhovna Rada adopted as a basis the draft law prohibiting the seizure of the property of the “O.M. Makarov Southern Machine-Building Plant” in Dnipro for the period of martial law.
