The chairman of the investigative committee of the Russian Federation Oleksandr Basrykin at the St. Petersburg International Law Forum stated that the security forces had been “caught” and sent to the war against Ukraine 20,000 migrants who received the Russian passport.

According to him, the staff of the department regularly conduct raids together with the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Rosgvardia to “catch” foreigners who received Russian citizenship but did not on military account.

“We have not caught 80,000 such citizens of Russia who are not for the forefront – they do not want to go to the military enlistment office,” Bastkin said. – And already 20 thousand “young” citizens of Russia, who for some reason do not like to live in Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, are on the front. ”

Last year, the Bastkin said that more than 30,000 migrants were “caught” in Russia, 10,000 of which were sent to the front. He called it a new “chip” of the authorities, which led to the departure of migrants from Russia.
