“The security service detained another member of the FSB intelligence group in the Kyiv region, which was exposed in the spring of this year. The attackers individually corrected the rocket and drone attacks of the Rashists on the capital of Ukraine. In May, the first member of the enemy cell, which tracked the locations of the Defense Forces for Russian shelling, was detained. According to the SBU, he was sentenced to 15 years in prison with confiscation of property. So far, the second agent of the group has been detained. He turned out to be a 49-year-old employee of a local service station,” the report says about one of the detainees.
The Ukrainian special service claims that “the suspect collected information about the technical condition of energy facilities in the capital region, and then sent this data to the curator along with the coordinates.”
The man detained in Donetsk region “corrected the air and artillery strikes of the Rashists on Kramatorsk,” the SBU informs.
“As the investigation established, the enemy accomplice turned out to be a 32-year-old drug addict from a front-line town who called on the occupiers to seize the district center on Telegram channels. After receiving briefings from the FSB, the person involved began tracking the locations of reserve command posts and checkpoints of Ukrainian defenders. In addition, the attacker followed the routes of the Defense Forces convoys that were heading towards the front,” the message states.
Both detainees were informed of suspicion under Part 2 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (treason committed under martial law).
Comments from the detainees or their lawyers are currently unavailable.
