Details: British Defense Minister John Gili will announce the agreement on Friday during a visit to the Nuclear Reactor Company plant in Derby.
An eight -year contract called “Unity” is intended to produce, produce and support the reactors more efficient and environmentally friendly.
It is expected to create more than 1000 jobs in the United Kingdom and will save 4,000 other jobs.
The Government has stated that the Agreement would streamline previous contracts and incentives, and will provide more efficient services, which would save £ 400 million.
In addition to the support of the current Underwater Fleet of Britain, “unity” involves the construction and commissioning of new submarines of the Dreadnout class and the start of concluding contracts for the Aukus defense alliance.
In March 2023, Rolls-Royce would provide reactors for a new navy of atomic submarines as part of a defense agreement between the United Kingdom, the USA and Australia.
Submarines will be built in the United Kingdom and Australia, but will use technologies of all three countries.
