“According to the results of the inspection, we note that the citizen crossed the border legally. He was issued a border permit for departure from Ukraine at one of the checkpoints in accordance with the norms of current legislation. All documents that give the right to cross the border during martial law were available,” the border guards said.
Separately, it is emphasized that at that time, no restrictions on the ban on leaving Ukraine were established in relation to Mindich.
The border guards also claim that they “did not receive instructions from any law enforcement agency”, which should have been used by the border service inspectors in case of detection of this citizen at the state border, in particular, regarding the ban on his departure from Ukraine, search or informing about the fact of crossing the state border.
We will remind: Usually, the DPSU responds to journalists’ inquiries about the border crossing by certain persons with the impossibility of disclosing data about third parties.
