Franchise executive Chuck Lorre, one of the creators of the original series and all its spin-offs, has been the only announced “backer” of the series, which will star “Big Bang” alumni Kevin Sussman, Brian Posen and Lauren Lepkus.
Lorrie has teamed up with screenwriter Zach Penn (The Avengers, Ready Player One, Free Guy) on the project, sources told Deadline.
