The army of the Russian Federation tries to take control of the Antonov Bridge near Kherson – the forces of the South Defense

Over the last week, the situation in the Dnieper (Kherson) direction has become more intense, the military of the Russian Federation increased the assault actions near the Antonovsky bridge, trying to take control of the railway part of it, said the Project of Radio Liberty “News of the Azov” by a spokesman for the South Defense Forces Vladislav Voloshin.

“The enemy per week spent more than 50 such attempts. That is, it was three to four attempts a day, now it is up to a dozen such attempts. The railway Antonovsky bridge is the narrowest place of the Dnieper, from where you can strike on the right bank, as well as try to make out on the right bank, where the forces of defense of Ukraine stand. Therefore, the enemy tries to take our positions near this Antonov Bridge at any cost. There is one of the elite Russian units against our units – a intelligence team. And they carried out such sabotage actions, ”the spokesman said.

At the same time, according to Voloshin, the Russian forces are trying to control the island zone in the Delta Dnipro Delta.

“If earlier the enemy in one or two directions carried out his assault actions and attempts to force, now in fact throughout the zone. These are the islands of Zabych, Kozulsky, Negro. On the Great Potemkin, the attempts of the enemy are also attempted to take control of these islands, ”he said.
