The army of the Russian Federation tries to break through the border in Sumy region and cut logistics – DPSU

The Russian military is trying to approach the border, where the forces of defense are conducting surgery in the Kurshchyna, as well as entering the territory of Ukraine to cut the logistics paths, said the spokesman of the state border service Colonel Andriy Demchenko on the air of the Telelorphone.

According to him, now the forces of the Russian Federation use the “large forces” of technology and personnel in Kurkh, but if we talk about the line of the border, then the forces of defense “maximize the defeat of the enemy.”

“Now we see that the enemy tries to go to our territory, or to expand the area of ​​active fighting in the territory of Ukraine, it is in the direction of the settlement new, but the units and SPSU, and other components of defense forces, so that the enemy could not be fixed there.

The SPSU spokesman says that the task of defense forces is now to prevent the promotion of the army of the Russian Federation deep into Ukraine and to cut the logistics paths provided by the Armed Forces during the operation within the Kursk region.

“These are not massive storms. Actually, when the enemy tries to knock out the forces of Ukraine’s defense from Kursk region, first of all, he presses on our units within the Kursk region. In the future, he tries to expand the area of ​​active fighting, trying to enter the territory of Ukraine. But in that direction all the components of the defense forces work to prevent it. All available weapons are used, ”Demchenko said.

Earlier, on February 28, the Center for Combating Misinformation under the National Security and Defense Council stated that there was no breakthrough in the Sumy region by the Russian troops.

“As for the information that is spreading on the network, that Russian troops are attacking the border of Sumy region in the area of ​​the settlement new. Having verified the information in the defense forces, the Center reports that the Russians are currently attempting to assault the border lines without equipment, infantry groups, ”the message reads.

Earlier, the media, citing the Deep State Project card, wrote that the Russian soldiers crossed the border in the Sumy region and entered the village of Novenke in the Yunak community.

Sumy region borders the Kursk region of the Russian Federation, where since August 2024 the Armed Forces conduct their operation.
