The Armed Forces Air Force urge not to publish a video of military aviation flights, including F-16

The Command of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine called for citizens to refrain from spreading video recordings of combat aviation, including F-16 fighters, especially with geolocation or recognizable objects on the ground.

“We emphasize that some publications with the flights of combat aviation, posted on social networks, can significantly help the enemy. Even a few seconds of the open access video can be important intelligence for the enemy, ”the official address reads.

The report stresses that any information about the placement, spanning routes or maneuvers can be used by Russian troops to destroy pilots. Particularly threat is the entries made in the frontline areas.

From the beginning of a full-scale invasion of Russia, the power of Ukraine has asked the West to provide modern F-16 fighters. In 2023, several countries, with the consent of the United States, decided to transfer such planes to Kiev. The arrival of the first F-16 fighters was known in early August 2024-they were shown during the celebrations for the Armed Forces Day.
