Ukrainian Ambassador to Germany, Alexei Makeev, in response to the calls of Prime Minister Bavaria Marcus Zioder to cancel the social payments “Burgergeld” (from him.

Bavaria Prime Minister Marcus Zioder has previously urged to cancel the Ukrainian refugees to pay the social assistance of Burgergeld, which is provided by those who are looking for a job or to those who are lacking income for self -sufficiency.

He believes that because of social payments, many Ukrainians do not want to get a job in Germany.

This call was picked up by the Prime Minister of the German Federal Land Saxony Michael Krechmer, supporting the revision of social assistance payments, including Ukrainian refugees.
