Literally: “On the night of November 28, 2024, the enemy attacked critical infrastructure – electrical substations in various regions of Ukraine. Unfortunately, there was a hit!
It is worth noting that almost 90 percent of the Kalibr and Kh-101 cruise missiles were shot down as a result of the anti-aircraft battle. In addition, as we reported earlier, three guided air missiles and 35 enemy UAVs were shot down, more than 60 were lost in location. In total, 12 hits were recorded, mainly at objects of the fuel and energy sector.”
Details: The Air Force explains that recently, during air attacks, the enemy uses a large number of missiles and drones. Their mass application in separate directions is frequent exceeds the number of means of cover.
In addition, the enemy uses modern means of air attack and is constantly improving thememphasized the PS of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It is about the firing of thermal and radar traps, and also uses EW means of personal protection installed directly on the missiles.
All this significantly complicates the operation of Soviet-made anti-aircraft missile systems, which are in service with the Air Force. They work much more effectively in such conditions western systems, which are not enough in Ukraineto reliably cover hundreds of critical infrastructure facilities. That is why, during massive enemy attacks, maximum forces and means are used, including aviation, EW, anti-aircraft defense and mobile fire groups.
It is also noted that on the eve of the enemy attacks takes into account meteorological conditionswhich significantly affect the work of mobile fire groups and fighter aircraft. Dense fog and cloud cover, which were observed in many regions at the time of the attack, did not allow the pilots and calculations of the MVG to perform their tasks effectively.
