In Kharkiv, two streets want to be named after two Ukrainian F-16 pilots, who died during the reflection of Russian attacks-Alexei Mesa and Maxim Ustimenko. Mayor Igor Terekhov reported about it.

“Both were masters of their craft – the highest level pilots and loyal brothers. Both began their journey in Kharkiv: here they took the first steps in military education, studied, formed as future officers. And so their names will remain in the history of our city forever, ”he wrote in the telegram.

The F-16 pilot Maxim Ustimenko was killed during the attack of the Russian Federation on the night of June 29. The military studied with Andrew Jusa Polishkov. He has a four -year -old son. During the night attack of Russia, he managed to knock down seven goals – then his aircraft was damaged.

President Volodymyr Zelensky has awarded the title Hero of Ukraine to the dead pilot Maxim Ustimenko.

Alexei Mes was killed on August 26 last year during a reflection of a Russian massive blow. The pilot in the aerial combat destroyed three winged missiles and one shock UAV, the air forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported.
